LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track and field team opened the Brant Tolsma Invitational on Thursday (Jan. 19) with the pentathlon.
Dylan Kirkwood was eighth in section two with a score of 3341. Sophia Buck earned ninth (3054). Kirkwood had the fourth best 60 hurdles time (8.89) and fifth best long jump (5.37m) and high jump (1.61m) performances.
On the men's side, the heptathlon started on Thursday and will conclude on Friday with Kai Auernheimer and Logan Alexander in action.
