Madison King Named Horizon League Co-Runner of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS – Purdue Fort Wayne's Madison King has been named the Horizon League Women's Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday (Oct. 17).
Youngstown State's Morgan Cole was selected as the other Runner of the Week.
King placed third of the 199 runners at the Bradley Pink Classic with a time of 20:43.80, recording a personal best for a 6K race. This mark was also the second-best in program history. She was the best finisher of Horizon League runners at the event. She led the Mastodons to 13th of the 32 teams in the field.
This is King's third Horizon League Runner of the Week honor of her career and second of the season.
King and the Mastodons are back in action this Friday (Oct. 20) at the Wild Bill Invite in Fairborn, Ohio.
