Shayla Sellers Nears 1,000 Career Points as Mastodons Welcome Wright State

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Shayla Sellers enters Sunday's (Dec. 3) contest against Wright State needing six points to join the Purdue Fort Wayne women's basketball 1,000-point club.

Wright State is 5-2 and 1-0 in the Horizon League, already significantly better than their 8-24 record last year. The Raiders have won five in a row and are coming off a 79-67 win against IUPUI. Alexis Hutchison is their leading scorer at 16.9 points per game, followed by Layne Ferrell at 12.4 and Kacee Baumhower at 11.7.
