Trailing by one after surrendering a run in the top of the inning, Gwen McMenemy reached on an error to start the Mastodons' half of the 12th. After the first out, Manos stepped in and won the game by clearing the fence to the left of center for the first time in her career.
After IUPUI took the lead in the opening frame, the 'Dons responded in the third inning with a two-run home run from Grace Hollopeter. The Jaguars tied it up in the fourth, but the 'Dons re-took the lead in the fifth with Hollopeter's sacrifice fly. With two down, Brooke Wintlend plated two insurance runs with a pinch hit single.
