FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne Track & Field team crosses the state for the final meet of the outdoor regular season. The Gibson Invitational is hosted by Indiana State and runs April 19-20.

Men's Preview:
Last weekend, five school records were set by the men's team. Four of them came from Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, where Ezra Lewellen set two school records, running the 100 in 10.50 and the 200 in 21.59. In distance events, Jarred Neff set a school record in the mile, running the event in 4:17.06 and taking second. Harrison Niswander recorded a school record in the 800 meters (1:54.64). Austin Hall set the fifth school record of the weekend running a time of 14:34.13. Brevin Miller highlighted the field events for the 'Dons in winning the javelin with a best throw of 52.15m.
Women's Preview:
Jai Reed and Ava Genovese set school records for Purdue Fort Wayne last weekend. Reed beat her own school record in the 100 running a time of 11.96. Genovese ran the mile in 5:08.02 for a new record. She was also the top overall finisher at the Bison Outdoor Classic. Her teammate Lydia Carrell took fourth place in the event as well.
