
Aaron Martin Named #HLTF Field Athlete of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS – Purdue Fort Wayne men's track and field student-athlete Aaron Martin (North Vernon, Ind. / Jennings County HS) was named the Field Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday (April 23).
Martin shattered the javelin program record with a throw of 66.03 meters at Indiana State for first among collegiate competitors. He holds the number one throw in the Horizon League and is 31st on the NCAA East preliminary list.
This is Martin's first career weekly award from the league.
The 'Dons are back in action on May 3-5 at the 2024 Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Oakland University.
