
'Dons Drop Game One at Cleveland State

Cleveland State's Melissa Holzopfel set down 18 of the 20 batters she faced and went 3-for-4 at the plate.
The 'Dons pushed their run across in the third inning. Brayden Lickey stole second and while the Vikings tried to throw her out, McKenna Minton took home and scored a run for the 'Dons.
The Vikings scored two runs in the first inning, one in the second, added three in the fifth, and scored five in the sixth.
Alanah Jones threw 4.1 innings and got the loss. Holzopfel pitched six innings and got the win in the no-hitter performance.
Cleveland State improves to 10-16 while Purdue Fort Wayne falls to 7-25. The Mastodons will play two more against CSU on Wednesday (April 10) starting at noon.
