Last Time Out for the Women
The Mastodon women traveled to the Little State Championships (April 11-12), hosted by Indiana Wesleyan. The 4x800 relay team of Ava Genovese, Haylee Hile, Riley Tate and Bella Hodges broke a 15-year-old school record with a time of 9:18.53 that won in Marion. Hile (3000 steeplechase) and Jordan Yanders (100 meter hurdles) won their respective events at the meet. Hile's time of 11:06.16 ranks fifth in the Horizon League standings. Francesca Carlo threw a hammer throw mark of 46.22 meters, the sixth-furthest spot in the HL.
Last Time Out for the Men
The Mastodon men visited Indiana Wesleyan's Little State Championships (April 11-12). The 4x800 relay squad of Nicholas Mills, Kobe Milledge, Joshua Roper and Harrison Niswander broke the previous school record set in 2019, the new time that holds the record is 7:49.44. Andrew Roman (4.65 meters) and Cody Loshe (4.50 meters) both cleared top-10 marks in the Horizon League at Marion. Freshman Logan Teichman threw a 15.28 meter shot put mark, the seventh furthest in the league. Boden Genovese broke the 800 meters school record at the meet, running a time of 1:54.55.
