'Dons Fall to Wright State on Senior Day

It was Senior Day for the 'Dons as Camden Karczewski, Garrett Maish, Dillon Fischer, Brooks Sailors, Carson Caudill, Drew Evans, Bryce Martens and Colton Shirley were honored prior to the game as part of Senior Day festivities.
Karczewski smacked a two-run home run in the first inning to put the 'Dons up 2-0. The 'Dons scored five times in the third to grab a 7-5 lead. Kevin Hall, Karczewski and Grant Sawa each batted in a run in the frame.
Wright State took back control of the game with a five-run fourth and six-run fifth. Parker Thomas got the win in relief for Wright State. He is 3-4. Braylen Blomquist scored five times in the game. Gus Gregory had four walks.
Karczewski totaled three hits in the contest for the Mastodons. Brooks Sailors and Justin Osterhouse each had two hits. Aidan Pearson suffered the loss going 2.2 innings.
Purdue Fort Wayne finishes the regular season 11-40 (9-20 Horizon League). Wright State improves to 34-18 (25-5 Horizon League) to close the regular season. Wright State will be the No. 1 seed in the Horizon League Championship and host the event starting Wednesday (May 21).
The 'Dons will be the No. 6 seed and open with No. 3 seed Milwaukee at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
