Mastodons Set 10 Personal Records at Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track and field team set 10 personal records on Saturday (Jan. 24) at the Notre Dame Invitational.
Amelie Mach (2:26.13), Diana Hodges (2:27.33) and Bethany Lockridge (2:30.87) all ran personal record times in the 800 meters.
Three Mastodons also pr'd in the 3000 meters: Kynzlei Bassett (10:21.80), Faith Allen (10:40.37) and Amanda Williams (10:43.11).
Emery Carrico won the shot put with a personal record 13.54 meter toss.
Faith Norris ran a personal record mile time of 5:16.38.
Mach also pr'd in the 60 meter hurdles in the preliminary round, crossing the line in 9.03. The sophomore ran a 10.55 in the final.
Lena James ran her first collegiate 400 meter dash time of 58.90.
Purdue Fort Wayne will travel back to Notre Dame for the Meyo Invitational and to SVSU for the Jet's Pizza Invitational on Jan. 30-31.
