
Sam Dunnett Wins Second Consecutive #HLTF Runner of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS - The Purdue Fort Wayne's men's track and field runner Sam Dunnett was named the Horizon League's Men's Runner of the Week on Tuesday (Feb. 3) for back-to-back selections.
The fifth year broke his own mile school record, set last week at the Notre Dame Invitational (Jan. 24), with a time of 4:02.23. The time sits atop the Horizon League mile competition and is 16th best in the Great Lakes Region.
This is the Australian native's second Horizon League Runner of the Week selection, the first coming last week (Jan. 27).
The Mastodons will travel to their final meet prior to the 2026 Horizon League Indoor Championships (Feb. 28), traveling to GVSU's Big Meet (Feb. 13).
