Kanavos transferred to IPFW from Vincennes University...went 1-0 overall in singles for the 'Dons as a junior...played at the No. 1 spot in doubles...he was 2-1 overall (0-0- SL) with IPFW's Junya Saruta.

HIGH SCHOOL
As a member of the Munster Mustangs tennis team, Kanavos put together four solid years under head coach Steven Lopez...Kanavos earned 1st-team all-conference honors, 1st-team all-district honors and all-state honorable mention each season from his sophomore to senior year... as a senior, Kanavos reached the Indiana State Finals in singles..received three letters in tennis from Munster.

Kanavos is the son of Thad and Marina Kanavos...he has one brother, George...majoring in general studies at IPFW.
