Fort Wayne, IN - IPFW begins its final home weekend of the regular season hosting South Dakota State on Thursday night at the Memorial Coliseum. The Jackrabbits handed the Mastodons their worst defeat of the season back on January 22 at Frost Arena, 87-52.

SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
The Mastodons are led in scoring by sophomore guard Frank Gaines (6-5/190/Ft. Lauderdale, FL) who is averaging 14.3 points a game. Senior guard Ben Botts (6-0/170/Muncie, IN) is right behind Gaines at 14.2 points a game, and junior guard Jeremy Mixon (6-1/175/Indianapolis, IN) rounds out the top-three scorers for the 'Dons at 10.8 points a contest.

Frank Gaines continues to become the go-to guy for the Mastodons. Gaines recorded a career-high 27 points at Oakland with a career-high four 3-pointers. He has led IPFW in scoring in eight of its last 10 games. He has five 20 + point games and has scored 27, 16, 20, 22, 19 and 19 in his last six contests. IPFW is 0-3 after recording 32 or fewer rebounds in a game this year. IPFW has made more three pointers than their opponent is its last six games (4-2).
SCOUTING THE JACKRABBITS
SDSU is led in scoring by sophomore guard Nate Wolters (6-3/190/St. Cloud, MN) who is averaging 18.4 points a game which is third best in The Summit League. Senior guard Clint Sargent (6-4/210/S. Sioux City, NE) is second on the team in scoring at 15.8 ppg., while freshman forward Jordan Dykstra (6-8/225/Rock
Valley, IA) rounds out the top-three for the Jacks at 10.6 points a contest.

South Dakota State is on a three-game winning streak. The Jacks are 5-0 when grabbing 42 or more rebounds. They are also 12-1 when shooting over 44.4% from behind the arc. SDSU is 10-1 when Griffan Callahan gets at least five rebounds and 4-0 when Jordan Dykstra scores in the 20s. IPFW owns an 8-4 overall series lead with South Dakota State. The Jackrabbits have never won in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
