Las Vegas, NV - On day two of the Summit League cluster, the IPFW women's tennis team swept the UMKC Kangaroos, 7-0, on Friday afternoon in Las Vegas, Nevada en route to a 19-3 overall (3-0) record this season.

The Mastodons started the day off in doubles with three victories for the doubles point. At the No. 1 spot, the IPFW team of Amy Recht and ingrid Ballus won 8-2 to improve to a win streak of 12. IPFW's Raquel Vescovi and Yuka Kobayashi won 8-3 at the No. 3 position and the duo of Alex Forsyth and Caterina Kiefer picked up a position at the No. 2 spot, 8-4.

In singles, the 'Dons claimed all six singles matches to seal the team win. At the No. 3 position, Vescovi won 6-2, 6-0 while Kobayashi claimed a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 6 position.

IPFW will return to action and close out cluster play in Las Vegas tomorrow against Oakland at 4:00 p.m. (EST).
