IPFW owns a clean slate against the Cougars, winning all five of the previous meetings, including a 95-50 victory over CSU in Fort Wayne nearly a year ago on February 8. The first meeting came on January 8, 2002 - IPFW's first season as a NCAA Division I member, and the teams met twice a year in 2001-02 and 2002-03.
LAST TIME OUT
The IPFW Mastodons led by as many as ten in the second half, but could not hold onto the lead, as the Jaguars came back with a vengeance and used a three-pointer by Stephen Thomas with 24 seconds left to clinch the 66-63 Jaguar win.

MASTODONS DRAW EASTERN KENTUCKY IN SEARS BRACKETBUSTER
IPFW has drawn the Eastern Kentucky Colonels in the Mastodons' first ever season in the Sears BracketBusters Event.
Eastern Kentucky is 13-12 this season, and an even 5-5 in Ohio Valley Conference play. The teams have only one common opponent so far this year, as each of the squads have topped UT Martin - with the Mastodons winning by six and the Colonels by eight. The two teams have met twice all-time, splitting the two meetings. Eastern Kentucky won the first meeting in overtime 100-96 in Richmond, Ky. on January 15, 2002, before the Mastodons evened the score with a 79-76 win in Fort Wayne the next season.
EKU is led by Jaron Jones, a 6-5 senior guard out of Lexington, Ky. who is the only player on the team to average in double-figures at 17.0 points per game. Joshua Jones averages 9.4, while Eric Stutz, the team's tallest player at 6-8, averages 8.7 points and a team-best 5.1 rebounds per game.
LAST SEASON vs. CHICAGO STATE
Senior guard Ben Botts and junior guard Jeremy Mixon led five IPFW Mastodons in double figures with 20-points each as the 'Dons drilled the Chicago State Cougars, 95-50 on Tuesday night in non-conference action at the Memorial Coliseum.
The margin of victory was IPFW largest since beating Purdue-North Central, 101-55 on December 28, 2009.
Botts started off a titanic, 29-0 run for the 'Dons midway through the first half with one of his four 3-pointers in the game. IPFW held Chicago State scoreless from the 9:16 mark of the first half until there was just 2:20 remaining.
At the half, IPFW led by the score of 51-15.
