PEORIA, Ill. - IPFW's men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss against the Bradley Braves on Saturday afternoon at the David Markin Tennis Courts in Peoria, Ill.

The 'Dons now fall to 5-8 on the dual season, while the Braves move to 7-8.

The day started off with doubles play where IPFW fought hard but BU managed to pick up all three wins for the doubles point.

In tight matches, the Mastodon tandem of Roberto Cabrini and Connor Andrews fell 9-7 at No. 1 while Joao Freitas and partner Daniel Kang lost by a 8-6 count at the No. 2 position.

In singles action, IPFW grabbed its lone point against BU at the No. 1 slot when Cabrini picked up a win against Ashton Kalhorn. Cabrini dropped the first set, 2-6, but then bounced back with 7-6 (2), 10-7 wins, respectively.

Kang had a first close set at the No. 2 position but Juan Diego Cuadrado won by a 7-5, 6-3 count.

The Mastodons return to action tomorrow (March 11) against Chicago State at 9 a.m. (EST) in Chicago, Ill.
