
Cobos and Kang Team Up for Consolation Championship

TOURNAMENT RESULTS
MUNCIE, Ind. - The IPFW doubles duo of Andres Cobos and Daniel Kang fell in the first round of the Flight A Doubles Tournament, before rebounding to win the next two, claiming the Consolation Championship in the event.
The duo won 8-5 over O'Neill and Weldon of Butler 8-5, before topping the doubles tandem of Gans and Bradley 9-8 (7-3) to claim the consolation championship.
In singles play, Karl Wangensten-Oye fell to Paul John of DePaul by a score of 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (12-10), as Jonathan Raa fell to Butler's Alex Woldmore 6-3, 6-3. Connor Andrews capped the singles play for the 'Dons, falling 6-4, 7-5 to Luke Hubert of Indianapolis.
Also competing in doubles on Saturday was the pair of Muadi and Guell, who fell to O'Neill and Weldon by an 8-2 score, as Andrews and Derek Romer fell 8-6 to the tandem from Ball State.
The Mastodons return to action on October 17 in the ITA Regionals hosted by Ohio State University.
