FORT WAYNE, Ind. - After a weekend break, the IPFW women's tennis team travels to Toledo, Ohio, to compete in the Rocket Invitational, the third of four fall tournaments that the squad will play in this season.

When: Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4
Where: Toledo, Ohio | Shadow Valley Tennis Club
ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The Rocket Invitational will include Toledo, Duquesne, and Detroit, and will be played as a hidden-dual format, with matches scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. each day. The Invitational will recognize the flight winners at all six singles positions and all three doubles spots.
SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
Leading the way for IPFW during the fall season has been 2014 Summit League Player of the Year Maya Sato, who is 5-1 and on a five-match winning streak after taking the tournament title at Bowling Green two weekends ago. Sara Sherif is 3-0 this year, her first in a Mastodon uniform.
In doubles, Marcy Huck and Sato are 5-1, with their only loss coming at the Bowling Green Invitational two weekends ago.
LAST SEASON AT TOLEDO
Last year at the Toledo Rocket Invitational, the season-opening tournament for the Mastodons, IPFW's top doubles team of Miloslava Shustova and Mayu Sato, and the No. 2 squad of Huck and Kristine Lindal, each took home flight championships. Overall the squad finished second in the hidden-dual format.
