FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW baseball team travels to Western Illinois for a four-game series as the Mastodons look for revenge after dropping three of four to the Leathernecks in their series two weeks ago at Mastodon Field, beginning April 25 at 3 p.m. (EDT).
When: Friday, April 25 (3 p.m.) and Saturday, April 26 (1 p.m.)

Scouting the Leathernecks:
Western Illinois is coming a rough weekend where it dropped three of four to North Dakota State but picked up a midweek victory over Big Ten opponent Iowa. The Leathernecks lone win of the NDSU series came in the Saturday opener in a late-inning comeback, 6-5 in eight innings. WIU dropped the other games by scores of 8-2, 4-2, and 6-3. Against the Hawkeyes, the Leathernecks won in the 10th inning, scoring a pair of runs with two outs to defeat Iowa 8-6 on its own field.
