Men's Tennis Takes to Nebraska for Weekend Pair

OMAHA, Neb. - The IPFW men's tennis team will face off against a pair of Omaha schools over the weekend, opening with a Friday evening match with Summit League foe Omaha, before facing off against Creighton a day later.
SCOUTING THE MASTODONS
IPFW is coming off of a program-record 13th win on Tuesday against the Grace College Lancers, the second of two matches on the day. Overall IPFW has won six of its last seven matches, and 9-of-11.
Gerard Guell leads the team with 21 singles victories, including going 15-4 in the spring season (9-1 at No. 3 and 6-3 at No. 4). Martin Muadi is 20-9 on the year and 12-6 in the spring, playing primarily at No. 5 singles (10-3). Daniel Kang, a back-to-back Summit League Player of the Week, is 17-11 this year and 12-7 at No. 1 singles in the spring season. Karl Wangensten-Oye is 14-2 in the spring at No. 6 singles, and is 16-9 overall.
In doubles, Andres Cobos and Kang are 19-9 on the season, including 13-6 at No. 1 pairs, while the duo of Guell and Muadi are 11-6 this spring at No. 2 doubles.
Opponent: Omaha Mavericks (6-11, 1-1 Summit League)

After starting the season 4-3, the Omaha Mavericks are just 2-8; however, have won their most recent match, a 5-2 win against Chicago State.
Leading the way for the Mavericks has been Erik Anderson who is 8-6 this season, playing at No. 3, 4, 5, and 6 singles during the season. James McMahus is 6-8 overall having played in the middle of the lineup. Tyler Mercier is 4-3 at No. 1 singles, while Adam Dockery is 3-9 at No. 2 singles, and 4-11 on the season.
The doubles team of Dockery and Eric McKnight are 7-8 at No.1 pairs, having played in 16 of the team's 17 matches this year at the position. Eight different pairs have teamed up at No. 2 singles, and five total pairs at No. 3 for the Mavericks.
