Cross Country to Finish Regular Season in Evansville

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW men's and women's cross country will finish their regular season schedule with a meet in Evansville at the UE Invitational.

Where: Evansville, Indiana
SCOUTING THE MASTODON MEN
The IPFW men's cross country finished 11th place last time out in the Greater Louisville Classic. Bret Unger led the men by finishing with a career best time of 26:56.25 placing him in 32nd out of 354 runners.
Logan Kitchen was the second 'Don to finish, Kitchen finished in 48th with a personal best time of 27:13.84 while Randy McComb came in at 27:44.34 finishing in 73th. Gabe O'Keefe and Connor Shaffer posted the final two scoring number for IPFW. O'Keefe finished with a time of 27:50.27 coming in 79th and Shaffer had a personal best time of 28:02.57 placing him in 91st. Nathan Clary and Ryan Curtis also competed in Louisville, Clary placed 156th with a personal best of 28:48.83 and Curtis put up a time of 28:51.20 placing him in 160th.

Last time out the IPFW women's cross country claimed 2nd place in the silver race at the Greater Louisville Classic. The women were led by two freshman, Emma Rafuse and Rebecca Sippel, Rafuse finished in fifth with a personal best time of 18:51.73, whille Sippel came across the finish in seventh place with a time of 18:55.49.
Breanna Fensler was the third member of the Blue and White to cross the finish, Fensler came in 24th with a career best time of 19:34.12. Rachel Kacer had a time of 19:44.18 placing her in 35th out of 365 runners. Brittany Fensler put the final scoring number up for the Mastodons when she came cross the line in 64th place with a tiem of 20:11.91.
Caitlyn Kiekhaefer, Andrea Bell, and Taylor Busch also competed in Louisville, Kiekhaefer finished in 81st with a time of 20:21.88, Bell had a time 20:57.14 placing her in 133th, and Busch finished in 250th with a tiem of 22:33.33.
