Emma Refuse leads Women to Fourth Place Finish

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The IPFW women's cross country finished in fourth place in the UE Invitational.
Freshman Emma Rafuse led the Mastodons by finishing in 13th place out of the 108 runners with a time of 18:45.2. Rebecca Sippel followed in the foot steps of Rafuse with a time of 18:46.9 and finishing in 15th place.
Breanna Fensler was the third member of IPFW to cross the finish by finishing in 31st with a time of 19:32.2 while Rachel Kacer had a time of 19:42.3 placing in 35th. Caitlyn Kiekhaefer rounded out the scoring the Blue and White, with a time of 20:24.8 finishing in 51st place.
Andrea Bell and Taylor Busch also competed in the event, Bell finished in 52nd with a time of 20:25.6 while Busch had a time of 21:47.0 finishing in 80th.
The team is back in action on October 31 when they travel to Brookings, South Dakota to compete in the Summit League Championships.
