Weather Forces Softball to Change Road Venue

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Due to cold temperatures and snowy conditions in the forecast for Oklahoma, IPFW's pair of softball doubleheaders scheduled for February 28 and March 1 have been moved. The team will instead travel to Conroe, Texas, for four games at the Scrap Yard Sports Complex. The Mastodons will play their regularly scheduled two games against both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, but will now be spread out over three days.

IPFW opens the weekend against Oklahoma State on February 27 at 5 p.m. ET. The follow day, the Mastodons again take on the Cowgirls at 11:30 a.m. ET before closing out the night against No. 6/4 Oklahoma at 4 p.m. ET.

The 'Dons wrap up the trip on Sunday with their final game at 11 a.m. ET against the Sooners.

Fans who wish to make the trip the Texas will be charged a $20 gate fee per vehicle for the weekend. If fans come Sunday only without a pass, they will be charged $10.
