Softball Faces Purdue for First Time in Over a Decade

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - For the first time in over a decade the IPFW softball team will take on Purdue in a midweek game. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on April 15 at the newly dedicated Boilermaker Softball Stadium.

Scouting the Boilermakers
Purdue is in the middle of a seven-game home stretch. The Boilermakers are coming off a Big Ten series with Nebraska where they went 1-2. All three games were shutouts, with Purdue winning the opener 1-0 before dropping the final two 3-0 and 8-0. In the opener, pitcher Lilly Fecho set a new single-season Purdue record for strikeouts.
