To top it off, the Mastodons got an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles from the team of Carlota Trevino and Sara Sherif.
The margin reached 2-0 before a tennis ball was hit again with the Leathernecks having to forfeit at No. 6 singles. Sherif added a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles to put IPFW ahead 3-0, before Emily Richardson won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 5 singles to give the Mastodons the match victory.
