Softball Returns to Action with Rematch at BGSU

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - After a tough Summit League weekend series, the IPFW softball team returns to action with a non-league doubleheader at Bowling green on April 21. The Mastodons will look to revenge an earlier loss to the Falcons when the two teams met at the Hoosier Classic. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 3 p.m.

Junior Braiden Dillow picked up the win for the Falcons in game two against Ohio, allowing three runs and five hits in 5 2/3 innings. BGSU is led by Aspen Searle at the dish, hitting .369 with a team-best 31 runs, 22 RBI, 10 doubles, and eight home runs. Starting pitcher Jamie Kertes leads the way with a 7-11 record and a 3.82 ERA in 100 2/3 innings. She has struck out 83 batters while walking 18.
