Softball Closes Out Regular Season at Home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW softball team closes out its regular season with a home doubleheader against Toledo on April 29 with first pitch set for 11 a.m. The Mastodons will honor their lone senior Becca Beier before game one.

Scouting the Rockets
Toledo was swept by Kent State in its conference series over the weekend as the Rockets have lost five of their last six game. Toledo needed extra innings to defeat Buffalo on April 24, taking it 4-3 in eight innings. In their series finale on April 26 against Kent State, the Rockets managed one hit in the 5-0 loss. Starter Emily Anderson was tagged with the loss, allowing three runs (zero earned) on five hits with three strikeouts in six innings of work.
