FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW baseball team travels to Brookings, South Dakota, to face off against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in the final three-game series of the 2015 season.

IPFW will look to snap out its current seven-game win streak, which immediately followed an eight game IPFW win streak.
For the year, shortstop Greg Kaiser leads the team with eight home runs and a .363 batting average, leading the Summit League with a .637 slugging percentage (is the only player above .600 in slugging). Brandon Soat, who is hitting .309, leads the team with 49 runs scored and 18 doubles, and is tied with Kaiser and Shane Trevino with four triples.,
Freshman Evan Miller's 84 strikeouts lead the Summit League by nine on the season, with teammate Ryan Wells' 66 strikeouts ranking fourth in the Summit League. Miller has a team-best five wins and 4.02 ERA, while Wells and Trevor Storie are each 4-6. Jake Weber has a Summit League-best nine saves, a new IPFW single-season record.

South Dakota State enters the final regular-season weekend having won five of its last seven games, splitting a mid-week doubleheader with North Dakota, winning 4-1 and falling 4-3.
Offensively the team is led by Zach Coppola, who is batting .391 with a league-best 37 stolen bases on 37 tries. He has scored 49 runs, and has 75 hits in 192 at-bats with 34 walks and a .489 on-base percentage. Luke Ringhofer has a team-best 40 RBI's and Matt Johnson has hit a team-best five home runs.,
Adam Bray sports a 7-3 record to go with a 2.40 ERA on the season, leading the team with 70 strikeouts in 82.1 innings of work. Ryan Froom is 5-2 with a 2.80 ERA, with Chris Anderson's 51 strikeouts rank second on the team. J.D. Moore, the Summit League career record holder in saves, has a team-best six for the season.
