CLEARWATER, Fla. - The IPFW softball team returns to action March 11-13 for the USF Series – Under Armour Showcase, hosted by the University of South Florida, where the Mastodons will play five games.

PREVIEWING THE TOURNAMENT
The 'Dons are coming off the Under Armour Invitational where the team defeated Cornell but lost to College of Charleston, Northern Kentucky, Villanova, Texas State, and Maine. The team scored a season-high in runs against Cornell with 13.
Emily Olszewski led the way for the Mastodons at the plate last weekend going (7 for 19), five RBIs, and four runs. Sierra Miranda also had a good weekend going (6 for 16) with four runs while Lauren Watson hit .350 in the lead off spot for IPFW over the six games. Elizabeth Snodgrass toed the rubber for 13 1-3 innings in four appearances during the weekend.
During the showcase, the 'Dons will meet two of its five opponents for the first time as a program. IPFW will take on UMass Lowell and Hartford on the first day, Western Michigan and Northern Kentucky on day two, and finish the weekend against East Carolina.
