Softball Wraps Up Home Season Against SDSU

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The IPFW softball will wrap up its home schedule for the season when the Mastodons host South Dakota State April 29-30 at Snider High School. IPFW will honor its three seniors, Sarah Lazarowich, Emily Olszewski, and Taylor Gordy Prescott, prior to game one on April 30.

Scouting the Jackrabbits
South Dakota State is coming off a mid-week split with North Dakota, dropping the opener 13-8, and winning the nightcap 10-3. In game one, a six-run sixth inning for North Dakota was the difference after South Dakota State had a 5-2 lead going into the fifth inning. Devan Larsen and Erin Mullen each collected three hits to lead SDSU in game two. Ashlyn Bender picked up the win, going seven innings with six strikeouts and eight hits.
