Eastern Illinois is coming off a split with UT Martin on Friday where the Panthers won the opener 3-1 before falling in game two 3-1. The two teams met during the first weekend of the season, as EIU bested the Mastodons 10-0, limiting the 'Dons to one hit. The two teams have played five common opponents in Loyola-Chicago, South Dakota State, Mercer, Miami Ohio and Detroit Mercy. In those games, the Mastodons are 3-6 while EIU is 2-4.
