HILLSDALE, Mich. – Emma Rafuse earned third in the 1,500 meters on Saturday (April 29) at the Hillsdale College "Gina" Relays. Rafuse ran a time of 4:40.48 in the event.
Olivia Coleman grabbed fifth in the 400 meters, stopping the clock in 57.41.
Fort Wayne was eighth in the 4x100 relay. Sara Crawford, Kyley Marano, Coleman and Lexi O'Connell combined for a time of 49.23.
Rebecca Sippel led a field of four Fort Wayne runners in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:38.38 for first.
O'Connell took 10th in the 100 hurdles (15.14).
Saturday was Fort Wayne's final day of competition before the league championships. The Mastodons open the Summit League meet on May 11 in Fargo, N.D.
