Event Preview: The Mastodons head to the league championships this weekend after last competing at the "Gina" Relays hosted by Hillsdale. Olivia Coleman grabbed fifth in the 400 meters in the meet, stopping the clock in 57.41. The time ranks 11th best in the Summit League this year. Madison Fruchey's 5K time of 17:15.55 at the EIU Big Blue Classic ranks fifth in the league. Her 11:24.98 time in the 3,000 steeple chase ranks sixth in the conference. The Summit League Championships opens on Thursday with the hammer throw, javelin, pole vault, 10K and the start of the heptathlon.
