Scouting the Mastodons (10-31, 6-18 Summit): Fort Wayne heads to Fargo in the final Summit League road trip of the season. Robert Young III owns a .495 slugging percentage. It ranks fourth in the Summit League. Next week the 'Dons will host Oral Roberts Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The final game of the series on Saturday will be Senior Day.
Scouting the Bison (19-22, 9-13 Summit): North Dakota State took a mid-week 10-0 contest over Condordia-Moorhead this week. Last week the Bison were swept by Oral Roberts at home. Jayse McLean is tied for second in the Summit League with seven home runs and Mason Pierzchalski is fifth in the Summit League with 28 runs batted in.
Series History: North Dakota State leads the all-time series 31-23. Last time the Mastodons traveled to Fargo, the Bison took the series 2-1. In a series earlier in the season, North Dakota State won all three games in the series.
Oh Boyd: Cameron Boyd has allowed no earned runs in five of his last six appearances.

Hey, you! I know you! I know you!: Fort Wayne's baseball and softball teams are in the same city this weekend as softball is playing in the Summit League Tournament in Fargo. The baseball team made the trek up to Fargo early to attend softball's victory over Western Illinois on Wednesday.
Looking Ahead: The Mastodons travel to Muncie on Tuesday, May 15 to play Ball State. It will be a 3 p.m. first pitch against the Cardinals.
