The Purdue Fort Wayne baseball (4-6) team will spend spring break playing four games in four days. First up is a contest at Dayton (1-6-1) on Thursday and then a three-game series against Butler (5-5) in Highland Heights, Ky.

Thursday, March 7th (2:30 PM) – at Dayton (moved from March 5th)
Saturday, March 9th (1 PM) – vs. Butler (at Northern Kentucky)
Sunday, March 10th (Noon) – vs. Butler (at Northern Kentucky) - Doubleheader

Freshman Alex Brunson is leading the team with a .353 batting average. Andrew Lawvere has a league-best four home runs to boost his slugging percentage to .833. He also has a team-best eight walks on the season. Trenton Stoner is second in the team in walks at seven, to push his on-base percentage to .458.
About the Flyers:
Dayton has a victory over Seton Hall and a tie with Fairleigh Dickinson on the season. They were last in action in a three-game set at No. 1 Vanderbilt, dropping all three contests. Mitchell Garrity has 11 total bases on the season with a .423 slugging percentage. Alex Brickman has a team-best two home runs on the season.
