Mastodons Set PRs At Grand Valley State Meet

ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track and field team recorded five personal bests on Saturday (April 20) at Grand Valley State's Al Owens Classic.
Lexi O'Connell ran the 100 hurdles in a time of 14.56 for fifth and matched her personal record.
Rachel Pierre-Louis had a pair of personal bests. She finished the 200 in 25.63 and the 100 in 12.78.
Bailie Brown finished 25th in the 5K (19:37.26) with a personal best.
Savannah Girolami scored points in the 400 meters (59.68), taking eighth for a season best. Her time of 25.89 in the 200 was a PR.
Ally Bailey was sixth in the 200 meters (25.20). Olivia Coleman wasn't far behind, taking ninth (25.33). Bailey was also in action in the 100 meters, stopping the clock in 12.44 for 12th.
Coleman's best leap in the long jump was 5.09 meters, good for 12th.
Natalie Dye took 18th in the 800 meters, registering a time of 2:25.92. Hannah Kroger set a PR in the 2:31.75 in the 800 meters.
Emma Rafuse was in California at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific on Thursday. She set a school record in the 5K school of 16:33.19.
The 'Dons are back in action on next week at the Gina Relays hosted by Hillsdale College.
