The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track and field team travels to the 53rd Annual Gina Relays hosted by Hillsdale Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27.

When: Thursday, April 25, 7 p.m. | Friday, April 26, Noon | Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m.

About The Meet: It is a three-day meet and Bailie Brown will the only Mastodon competing on day one. She will be in the 5,000 meter run scheduled for 6:45 p.m. On day two, Emma Rafuse, Elana Kayser, Sophia Hirzel, and Caitlyn Kiekhaefer compete in the 1,500 meters. Hannah Jennings will be in the field for Shot Put. Savannah Girolami will run in the 400 meter dash. Next, Hannah Kroger and Natalie Dye run in the 800 meters. Lexi O'Connell will be in the 400 meter hurdles. Olivia Coleman and Rachel Pierre-Louis will be joined by Ally Bailey and Brittney Hartman in the 200 meter dash. Rafuse competes in the 5,000 meter Championship race. Day three, Jennings starts off the day with Discuss at 10 a.m. The 4x100 meter relay follows with runners O'Connell, Bailey, Pierre-Louis and Coleman. Finishing up the weekend, Pierre-Louis, Coleman, Girolami and Bailey compete in the 4x400 meter relay.
Last Week: The Mastodons recorded five personal bests at Grand Valley State's Al Owens Classic. Lexi O'Connell matched her personal best in the 100 meter hurdles (14.56). Rachel Pierre-Louis had two personal bests, in the 200 meter dash (25.63) and the 100 meter dash (12.78). Bailie Brown had a personal best in the 5K (19:37.26). Hannah Kroger set a PR in the 800 meters (2:31.75). Emma Rafuse was in California at the Bryan Clay Invitational and set a school record in the 5K (16:33.19).
Up Next: The Mastodons travel to the Summit League Outdoor Championships in Macomb, Illinois May 8-10.
