In the top of the fourth, Ashley Haas was hit by pitch and advanced to third after Morganne Denny and Emma McMillan put the ball in play. Haas was left on base as the Owls were able to hold her in scoring position.

In the bottom of the seventh, McMillan got to third on a pair of Owl miscues. Lexi Smalarz joined her on the bases after drawing a walk, but both were left on base.
