FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne softball team (11-22, 10-19 Horizon) welcomes Oakland (18-10, 19-13 Horizon) to Fort Wayne on Tuesday for a mid-week league doubleheader. The two previous attempts to play this doubleheader have been rained out.

In her first outing, the senior threw a complete shutout against the Norse, striking out two in the process. In the second outing, she allowed just one earned run while also striking out two Norse. For the week, Eyre had a 0.69 ERA with just the one earned run. She did not allow the Norse to get any multi-base hits in 55 plate appearances.
