
King Placed Top 10 For Second Straight Race

CARMEL, Ind. - Madison King placed in the top 10 for the second race in a row this season at the IUPUI Jaguar Classic on Friday, Sept. 10.
In Friday's race, the Mastodons placed sixth. It was their first 6K race of the season. The race consisted of 62 runners and included Horizon League foes IUPUI, UIC, Milwaukee, and Wright State. Butler was the winner of the meet with a total of 18 points.
King finished the race in sixth place with a time of 21:53.60, which was a new personal record. Behind King was Brooke Neal who finished in 22nd place (23:09.70), Madison Langdon in 31st place (24:15.40), both ran in their first career 6K, Kathy Potter in 36th (25:03.00), Makaila Groves in 38th place (25:16.90), Paige Benecke in 39th (25:20.40), Mercedes Sarver in 40th (26:56.40), Aeryn Bradley in 60th place (27:29.10) and Michaela Sheets in 62nd place (29:30.6). The Mastodons will be back in action next Friday, Sept. 17 at the Spartan Invitational in East Lansing, Mich.
