Old Rivals Purdue Fort Wayne and Oakland Women's Volleyball Meet on Tuesday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball team will meet with its old rival Oakland on Tuesday (Sept. 28) in Rochester, Michigan.

Purdue Fort Wayne had 15 team blocks against UIC on September 26, recording the most blocks since September 21, 2019 against Central Arkansas. The 'Dons also had 15 in that match. Madelyn Wurster had a career-high eight blocks, with Molly Mirabelli and Ramei Jackson having seven each.

The Mastodons have already played five five-set matches this season (SIUE, Kent State, Liberty, Green Bay and UIC). This is more than the entirety of the spring 2021 season, as the 'Dons had just one: a 3-2 loss at Green Bay.
