FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne is set to compete at the Blizzard Buster hosted by Miami (Ohio) on Friday, March 18 in Oxford, Ohio.

Teams Attending
Friday's meet is the first time the Mastodons will see Horizon League foes Wright State and Northern Kentucky during the outdoor season. The 'Dons will also face MAC opponents Toledo, Bowling Green, and Ohio, along with Big Ten opponent Purdue and DII Grand Valley State.
Off To a Strong Start
The 'Dons opened the outdoor season at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge, just two weeks after the Horizon League Indoor Championships. Both teams started the season strong with a first place finish on the women's side and a second place finish on the men's side.
Program Records
In last weekend's Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge, the Mastodons broke five program records.
On the men's side, JT Hodges broke the 3,000 meter run record (9:00.37), Aaron Martin broke the shot put record (13.87 meters) and Asher Walden broke the men's hammer throw record (50.02 meters).
On the women's side, Madison King broke the 3,000 meter record (10:12.48) and Selena Johnson broke the triple jump record (11.51 meters).
Coming Up
Outdoor season continues for the Mastodons next weekend. The 'Dons travel to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Outdoor meet, hosted by Cedarville University.
