OXFORD, Ohio – Purdue Fort Wayne women's track & field athlete Jesseca Hudson-Turpin won the 100-meter hurdles at the Blizzard Buster on Friday, March 18.

Hudson won the event with a time of 14.23 seconds. She was 0.09 seconds off breaking her program record setting time of 14.14 seconds. Jordan Yanders came in third in the event at 14.55 seconds

Top track event performances include Josefin Wikfeldt , who was 16^th in the 100-meter dash (13.06 seconds), and Yanders was 18^th in the 200-meter dash (26.27).

In field events, Nakia Harris Campbell (11.85 meters), and Abbigail Garwood (11.50 meters) were 10^th and 13^th in the shot put, Allyssa Hennessey and Kelsey Shatava were 12^th in the high jump (1.45 meters), and Megan Sinnott was 13^th in the hammer throw (43.14 meters).

The Mastodons will be back in action on Saturday, March 26 to compete in the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Outdoor meet, hosted by Cedarville.
