Mastodon Softball Back in Action With Three Games at Green Bay

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Mastodon softball team will play at Green Bay on Thursday and Friday (March 24-25) for three Horizon League games.
NOTE: The games have been moved up to a single game on Thursday and a doubleheader on Friday due to forecasted cold weather.

Know Your Foe
Green Bay is 8-13, 1-2 Horizon League after picking up a win in the final game against Northern Kentucky in the opening weekend. The Phoenix did beat Cleveland State in a non-league game to open the season, however. Tiffany Giese and Jadin Justman are leading the team with .333 batting averages. Abigail Gawlinski is pitching with a team-best 2.40 ERA with a 4-3 record. As a team, Green Bay has a 4.64 ERA.

She was the first position player for the Mastodons to be named Player of the Week since Demitra Burns was the Summit League Offensive Player of the Week in 2018.
