Haney Ties High Jump Record at Huntington Invitational

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Purdue Fort Wayne women's track & field student athlete Miranda Haney tied the program record in the women's high jump at the Huntington Invitational on Thursday, April 14.
Haney's jump of 1.65 meters ties her own record she set back on April 24, 2021. She finished first in the event.
Other top finishers include Jai Reed (4.96 meters) and Payton McHenry (4.35 meters) were second and seventh in the long jump. Nakia Harris-Campbell was fourth in the shot put (12.06 meters) and 11th in the hammer throw (36.28 meters).
A second group of athletes travel to Muncie, Ind. to compete in the We Fly Challenge, hosted by Ball State on Saturday, April 16.
