Mastodon Softball Heads to Butler For Midweek Game

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne softball team will play at Butler on Tuesday for a non-league game at 4 p.m. in Indianapolis.

Know Your Foe
Butler is 22-14, 9-5 Big East and is coming off a 3-2 win over UIC. The Bulldogs have wins over common foes IUPUI (7-2 and 5-4), UIC (3-2) and Southern Illinois (7-2). They have losses to Chattanooga (11-1), Indiana State (7-1, 11-5), which the Mastodons also lost to earlier this season.
Series History
Purdue Fort Wayne leads the all-time series 11-8-1, which dates back to 2003. Butler has won the last two, a 5-1 game in Clearwater Florida in 2017 and a 3-2 game in April of 2019 in Indianapolis.
