Jack Shaw Invitational Serves as Final Prep Before League Meet

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Purdue Fort Wayne women's track & field team finished up its regular season on Saturday, April 30 at the Jack Shaw Invitational hosted by Western Michigan.
The Mastodons will travel to Rochester, Mich. to compete in the Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships from May 6-8.
In field events, Allyssa Hennessey (1.50 meters) and Kelsey Shatava (1.45 meters) finished second and third in the high jump. Ramey Wilder and Mariah Oberhaus (both 4.71 meters) were tied for sixth in the long jump.
In sprint events, Jesseca Hudson-Turpin was third in the 400-meter hurdles (1:05.00). Haley Pandazis (27.15 seconds) finished sixth in the 200-meter dash. Josefin Wikfeldt (12.58 seconds) and Jai Reed (12.80 seconds) finished fifth and seventh in the 100-meter dash. Wilder (16.32 seconds) was eighth in the 100-meter hurdles.
