The 'Dons earned a one-run win in the opener with Miller getting out all four batters he faced for his fourth save of the season. He retired one via strikeout to bring his career total to 179. That tied Miller with Samuel Walker, who also had 179 from 2008-11. Miller started game two and earned another strikeout to pass Walker and hold second place all to himself with 180.
