Purdue Fort Wayne WVB Wraps Up Non-League Play This Weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Purdue Fort Wayne women's volleyball team will play its last two non-league matches of 2022 this weekend when the Mastodons play Duquesne and Toledo in the Toledo Challenge.

• Duquesne is 2-8 and owns wins over Canisius and Southern Indiana. Carsyn Henschen is leading the Dukes with 3.05 kills per set on a .213 hitting percentage. Morgan Kelly and Elizabeth Osborn are also terminating more than two kills per set off setter Hailey Poling. Madison Grimm is leading the defense with 3.26 digs per set.
• Toledo is 5-4 this season with three wins at the Webb-Burbridge Classic and one at each of the Michigan and Western Kentucky tournaments. The Rockets swept Horizon League member Northern Kentucky. Rachael Crucis was named to the Xavier Tournament's All-Tournament team for her defensive efforts for the Mastodons. She had 57 digs in nine sets of action, averaging 6.33 digs per set. If that mark was a season-long average, it would have ranked second in the nation.
