Faith Allen Wins Collegiate Title For Mastodon Women at Wild Bill Invite

FAIRBORN, Ohio – Freshman Faith Allen was collegiate champion of the Wild Bill Invite on Friday (Oct. 20) afternoon for the Purdue Fort Wayne women's cross country team.
Purdue Fort Wayne was represented by three runners in Friday's 6K hosted by Wright State University. The Crawfordsville, Indiana native Allen took second overall in the race and was the first collegiate runner across the line at 24:25.97. It's her second-fastest 6K this season and her best finish in any race during her first year at Purdue Fort Wayne.
Sophomore Madeleine Wisniewski and sophomore Emma Collison were the other two Mastodons on the course Friday. Wisniewski finished 14th with a time of 28:40.01 while Collison took 16th with her time of 31:06.64.
The Mastodons will run again on Saturday, Oct. 28th for the Horizon League Championships.
